Summary:
The Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification's Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) section provides fingerprint identification services to law enforcement and certain other agencies in the state of Utah.
The Bureau also offers fingerprint and photo services for applicant purposes, including; Concealed Firearms permits, PI licenses, school teachers, real estate agents, armed/unarmed guard, burglar alarm agents, health care workers, day care workers, Office of Education's certification, adoptions, etc. A government issued form of identification (i.e., driver's license, state ID card, passport, etc.) is required for the fingerprinting and photo services.
No appointment is necessary for either the fingerprinting or photo services.
