The victim was a gay man living with a room mate at 819 East 800 South. The victim was buying the house and the room mate assisted with the payment by renting a bedroom. The victim and room mate were not romantically involved. The victim sold small amounts of cocaine to make money. He was not employed at the time of his death. The room mate was not home in the previous 24 hours. The room mate had worked the previous day and then went to his girl friends house to spend the night. The room mate worked the following day (11/13) and then went home 1t 21:30. He found the victim deceased in the kitchen. The victim had the night. The room mate worked the following day (11/13) and then went home at 21:30. He found the victim deceased in the kitchen. The victim had been shot. There was no forced entry into the home. The back door was locked, the front door was closed but unlocked.
