Jane Doe-Millard County
On August 19th 1979, mostly skeletal human remains were found in a shallow grave off the Cove Fort Exit. The remains were determined to be that of a female between the ages of 35 and 50 and approximately 5’1″ tall with no natural teeth and no dentures were found. There were a few clothing items including a size medium short sleeve shirt and a size 32A brassiere. Also found with the body was a Texas instruments brand watch and a ring on the left hand with a green or turquoise stone in it. A Composite sketch was done of the victim based on the remains. The case was closed after Henry Lee Lucas confessed to the killing in 1984. He provided details that investigators determined only the perpetrator of the crime could have known. The female victim was never identified.
