St. George PD was able to do research on family and made contact regarding David missing. They replied he died 5 years ago-case closed 6/4/2026

On 10/16/2000 Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle parked at a residence in the Bloomington area of St. George. Investigation showed that David William Newman parked his vehicle at his brother’s residence and walked away. Family stated David had been suicidal for some time due to stresses in his life. Since abandoning his vehicle, David has not been seen or heard from.
