According to the news articles, a freight train derailed near a station located In Kaysville, UT. Responders to the wreck in the days following located human Remains believed to be a white male between the ages of 17 – 25 years old, the remains were noted to be “badly mutilated”. It was believed at the time the deceased male was a transient and no identification was located. The only item noted to be in his possession was a piece of paper with “Bar Joe Elwood” written on one side and “Junction City, Ore., William E Miller” written on the other side.
