At about 6 p.m. on May 21st, 1959. The body of an adult white male was found lying face down on an improvised bed of cardboard near the Ogden Union Railway and Depot Co. Tracks between 33rd and 36th St in Ogden. OUR&D Officers found the body and reported it to the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. The man was described as about 60-65 years of age and had been dead for about two or three hours. It was determined there were no signs of violence or foul play, and the death was considered to be from natural causes. There was no identification on the body, but 50 cents and a few other possessions were found in his pockets. Fingerprints were checked locally as well as sent to the FBI, but the man was never identified. The Unknown man was buried in the Ogden City Cemetery under a headstone reading “Tramp”
