On Monday, July 24th, 2023, at about 0940 hours, it was reported by Jo Whitmarsh that her father, Raymond Linn Shimer was missing. She had not heard from him since May 2023. She believed him to be camping in the Lehi area and was concerned that he had been suicidal and had stated that he wanted to die while camping. Transient camps in the area were checked with negative contact. Shimer was listed NCIC.
