Rhonda Fae Karren was last seen at 9:00 PM on September 28, 1987 in Vernal UT. She had attended a work seminar in Salt Lake City that evening. Her car was parked in her driveway. Notes from the Seminar and her Purse was on the table inside her home. There were signs of a struggle in the backyard, none in the residence. The suit jacket and shoes which Karren had worn were found on the ground, foul play is suspected.
