The victim was taken to the address of occurrence by the parents. The daycare provider stated the victim woke up from a nap gasping for air as if congested in the lungs. The victim was taken to Primary Children Hospital. The victim died on November 28, 1988. The Medical Examiner’s Office list the death as homicide and the immediate cause of death is known but being with held for investigative reasons. This is an open case and the Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking information.
