SOLVED 3/16/2022 Suspect Edward Geddes (Husband)

On 4/20/1998, an unidentified deceased female was found 38 miles from Lake Powell on Utah Highway 276 milepost 8, near Maidenwater Spring and Canyon Area, in Garfield County, UT. When located, her body was covered with plastic bags, wrapped in duct tape, tied with rope, and placed inside a sleeping bag before being wrapped in carpet, tied with a series of Unique Complex knots.

The deceased female was identified in November 2018 as Lina Reyes Geddes through DNA from her sister and a national database. The possible suspect is her deceased husband, Edward Geddes, who committed suicide two years after Lina was murdered.
