Phillip Lyndon FRANCIS

On February 24, 1978 Tooele County Deputies located the body of Phillip Lyndon Francis, the body appeared to be fully clothed, the victim was wearing faded blue levis, brown belt, brown leather sandals, and a blue knit short sleeve shirt with white lettering, front letters USNH/88, back letters 88. The clothes were weathered to the point of falling off the body. The body was identified April 2, 1979 using dental records obtained from files of the United States Navy.

Phillip was assigned to the Naval Air Station at Lemoore, CA when he was given a special service assignment at the naval air station in Fallon, Nevada.

Phillip was last seen on August 9, 1975, his Green Chevy Nova was found abandoned at the Greyhound bus depot in Salt Lake City, UT on August 12, 1975.

Phillip died from a Traumatic blow to the left side of his skull. Time of death was estimated as Summer of 1975.
