On 10/01/2013, Ogden City Police Officers were dispatched to a report that Shallen Lestrick had been shot by two unknown males who ran from the area. Officers found Shallen lying on the sidewalk in front of a home in the 200 block of 29th street. Officers were told Lestrick was outside smoking when the suspects approached from behind and shot him. The suspects then fled.
