On 7/20/2016 Steven was found deceased and partially decomposed in the front yard of a single-family residence several blocks from his home. It was determined that Steven died from multiple gunshot wounds and that a struggle may have preceded the shooting. He was last seen alive on 7/16/2016 frequenting several stores in the vicinity in which he was found.
